Management Team
Louise Guay President and Founder |
Louise Guay is not just a gifted entrepreneur, but also a true visionary. She created YYIATS (1986) and PTM (1990) before founding My Virtual Model with her partner Jean-François St-Arnaud in 2000. Her Ph.D. thesis was a first essay on Virtual Identity. The context was museum collections. As museums and stores deal similarly with visual dynamics and acrobatics, it was natural to apply the Virtual Identity concept to the retail world.
Louise has always been the user advocate; she believes that each individual is responsible of her or his identity. In this way, the Virtual Model of people can be a personal agent of communication, an autonomous agent representing each user.
Louise holds a Ph.D. in Multimedia Communications from l'Université de Paris VIII. Her transcultural multimedia dissertation was the first ever presented on laserdisc. She received the Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award (1996) from University of Toronto. |
Jean-François St-Arnaud Chief Executive Officer and Founder |
In May 2002, Jean-François St-Arnaud was appointed CEO of My Virtual
Model Inc. He joined Public Technologies Multimedia in 1993. Since
then, he occupied a number of posts, most recently as Chief Operations
Officer.
Previously, Jean-François St-Arnaud co-founded a
computer-consulting firm, MTLI Conseil en Informatique Inc. and
directed the firm's operations in France. His professional background
also includes the management of multidisciplinary teams in electrical

Hydro-Québec.
